Our Programs
Meeting Families Where They Are, Supporting Them Every Step of the Way
At Family Promise of Forsyth County, we walk alongside families facing homelessness or housing instability, offering personalized support tailored to their unique circumstances. Our goal is not just to meet immediate needs—but to help families take meaningful steps toward lasting stability and independence.
We offer two core programs that reflect the diverse paths families may take:
Residential Program
For families experiencing homelessness, our Residential Program provides more than just a safe place to stay—it offers a comprehensive path forward. Families in the program receive:
-
Temporary housing in a supportive, community-driven environment
-
Intensive case management focused on housing, employment, budgeting, and goal setting
-
Meals and encouragement from a network of dedicated volunteers and congregations
We create a nurturing space where families can focus on rebuilding with dignity and support.
Community-Based Services
Not all families need shelter to benefit from our services. Through our Community-Based Services, we support families who are housed but facing instability. This flexible program provides:
-
Personalized coaching and case management
-
Access to workshops, transportation assistance, and material support
-
Connection to community resources that promote long-term sustainability
This approach allows us to meet families where they are and help them take the next right step toward stability—before a crisis occurs.
Ongoing Program Support
Graduation from a program isn’t the end of the journey. We continue walking with families through ongoing check-ins, resource support, and encouragement to help them maintain momentum and build on their progress.
Together, these programs reflect our core belief:
With compassionate support and practical tools, families can overcome homelessness and build brighter futures.
