At Family Promise of Forsyth County, we believe every parent deserves the opportunity, support, and tools to be the hero of their child’s stability story.
Sometimes, that support starts with everyday basics. Everyday Essentials helps families access household items not generally covered by SNAP, including toilet paper, laundry supplies, cleaning supplies, and other basic needs.
How it Works
Families complete a short Family Stability Builder Worksheet at each visit, earn Purchase Points, and choose household essentials. After six visits, continued access is available through our Community-Based Services Program, which provides additional resources, Purchase Points, and expanded item choices.
Family Access Guidlines
Everyday Essentials is available to eligible families with children under the age of 18 in Forsyth, Dawson, and Cherokee Counties. Purchase Points, visit counts, and item limits are tracked by household. Each household may shop once per visit. If your family is sharing housing with another family, please let us know so we can help set up access fairly.
Everyday Essentials is available at the Family Promise Bridge Center, located at 127 Samaritan Drive in Cumming, and through Family Promise On the Go at select community locations.
